Sealing Elements
Where are spiral wound gaskets used?
Spiral wound gaskets combine a wound metal strip with graphite or PTFE filler and are preferred on flanged joints in steam, thermal oil and high-pressure process lines.
Where is PTFE tape used?
PTFE tape fills the gaps between threads to seal threaded pipe joints. On gas lines a gas-approved type must be used.

We supply branded products manufactured to standards such as EN 1514, ASME B16.20, EN 751-3. Simply state the standard in your project specification when you request a quote.
